Research area
Loïs Lozach is a PhD student at the chair of Ecological Systems Design, ETH Zürich. He works as part of the SWIRCULAR flagship, which aims at addressing the urgent need for a circular economy in the built environment. The project involves both research and industry partners in Switzerland, simultaneously covering legal, business, and technical aspects of the built environment ecosystem. Loïs works on defining circularity metrics for the building sector, using a systemic approach to prevent trade-offs between circular strategies and sustainability goals while detecting synergies.
